Music

These are just songs I like to listen to.  A lot of the times I don’t know the verses; I am a fan of the song because of the chorus.  My disclaimer is that I may not necessarily agree with the lyrics to some of the songs.  I may just like the song in general (or chorus) or that artist’s voice.  (Not that it’s okay to listen to filthy music just because someone’s voice sounds nice.)  And not every song is a parallel to my life!  Though, there are plenty that are applicable.  Which ones?  I’ll let you decide.

You’ll probably notice that a lot of the songs I have on here were produced before I was born.  I thank my mom for my taste in music! 

Although I love to make my own music, I did not really start listening to different artists until a few years ago.  My favorite genre is definitely Contemporary Christian; however, I do like some classic rock, jazz, blues, and R&B to spice up the mix.  Okay, I am a romantic so I also like love songs.  According to iTunes, I like Folk music, too- not to be confused with Bluegrass.  And once in a blue moon, I like a country song or two.  But again, that’s rare.

As far as favorite artists go, Casting Crowns is my favorite band.  (Hence the reason I have a lot of their songs on my playlist!)  Favorite solo singer?  Let me ponder that for a while….

Technical:  At the top right of the player there are two arrows that are intertwining.  Click that for all of my songs to be played in a random order.  Or, you can pick yourself by scrolling to the song and clicking *once* on it.  You can also open the players in a new window if you would like.  (I have instructions for that.)  And if you happen to really dig my music (that phrase was for you older people), you can save that new window to your desktop.  Now you can access it right after you turn on your computer and won’t even have to come to my website!  (Though I do hope you come back often.)  All you need is an internet connection.
